It seems with the ever changing, fast paced, technology world we live in today the term “3D” seems more like a buzz word than a clarifying term. Remember when flat panel screens came out that were “HDTV ready?” It disappointed many with the fact that most of these didn’t have key components they needed (like a TV tuner or auto screen resizing) yet the words “HDTV ready” seemed to imply that what you were buying was READY TO GO.
With that in mind let’s put some specific things out in front and center about this 3D Video blog and what we will be covering.
What it is NOT- We aren’t going to be dealing with graphics software that compiles and renders CAD or graphics on a 2D screen with three dimensional attributes. There’s plenty of resources out there on the net for those. Anything that just has the buzz words of 3D doesn’t fit in this blog.
What it IS- This blog is focused on live 3D video and 3D content that are the next steps in film, broadcast and consumer products and even custom event and tour content. Expect to see reviews on the following here:
Cameras and processing equipment
Consumer grade 3D device reviews
Down to earth content that helps you understand the basics for discussing the complex pieces
Industry events, conferences, conventions both consumer and industry specific. Especially events where content and products debut.
Interactive and 3D video technology integration
There are many different resources coming out and new technology that you can use both at home and elsewhere to integrate in your corporate event, or even your non-profit gathering. Many experienced marketing personnel know that sometimes all it takes to get someone to the trade show booth, or come to that event is by using the latest technology no one else is, or by engaging people with new interactive mediums.
As we build this resource for you we hope that it will become a place where you can use as a springboard and reference in the technology we as a company are familiar with and are helping people with cutting edge ideas. No Meta entered
