Las Vegas ― Evident Productions has partnered with The Learning Center of Las Vegas to deliver social networking courses. Local business men and women can now access Evident's proven strategies for expanding an online presence. In the first of a series of courses, they will learn the tips and tricks needed to get started in tapping the power of social networking.
The Learning Center provides a unique training environment that optimizes the learning experience. With stadium seating and networked computers with high speed fiber links to the Internet, attendees will follow along on their own screen as they learn the latest social networking tools and online marketing techniques.
The introductory course starts with the basics ― setting up different personal and business social networking accounts ― and migrates into how to efficiently build an online presence, promote a brand and connect with their target audience. Intermediate and advanced level courses will soon offer more information on how to integrate marketing campaigns with social networking and engage customers on multiple online platforms simultaneously. The advanced level courses provide training in understanding the value of web site, search engine and social networking analytical feedback to improve time and resource investment.
"Our mission is to educate attendees on the power of social networking as a marketing tool," Nield Montgomery, general manager of The Learning Center, said. "We have no doubt, once the seminar attendees see the power of this resource, they will want the skills to harness this power. That's where the follow-up classes come in. In those classes they will be taught the 'secret sauce'."
With the Internet as one of the world's leading communication platforms, social networking allows everyone, from individual business owners to government entities, to communicate their message to their audience in the most cost effective and efficient way, Montgomery said. Evident Productions founder Peter Blue was the ideal presenter to share the potential power of social networking to the Learning Center's clientele.
"Peter is a high energy, passionate believer and effective communicator," Montgomery said.
The first six-hour, computer lab based, Level 2 course will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on April 20 and 21. The second identical Level 2 course would run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on April 27 and 28. Early bird pricing is being offered at a $100 discount off of the standard $495 course fee. This discount will be available up until a week prior to either of the two events.
In addition Evident Productions and The Learning Center are offering free presentations on “Maximizing the Power of Social Networking” for all who are interested in learning how social networking can be used to build their brand. These presentations have limited seating and are on a first come, first reserved basis.
